Will's Journey in Shooting Sports

Will began his journey in shooting sports after his mother’s courageous battle with breast cancer. He wanted to explore something new, and shooting seemed like the perfect fit. Starting with a Beretta 690, he spent a couple of years honing his skills with it. As he began to excel, his love for the sport grew, leading him to compete with the SCTP Lake Oconee Shotgun Team and his school’s team at Gatewood.

After a successful showing at the SCTP Nationals, where he earned several awards, Will felt ready to take his shooting career to the next level. To support his ambitions, he upgraded to a Krieghoff K80 with a custom TSK stock. From there, he gradually started competing in NSCA tournaments, getting familiar with registered targets and high-level competition. In 2024, Will and his family committed fully to his passion, traveling the country to compete in major tournaments. His favorite event is FITASC, and he has a special fondness for sub-gauge events, especially with the 28 gauge.

In addition to sporting clays, Will has also found success in skeet through NSSA tournaments, collecting several awards

Lilly Kent's Rise from the Sidelines

Initially, Lilly Kent was a supportive presence at her brother’s competitions, all while working on her golf game. But one day, she decided she didn’t want to stay on the sidelines any longer. She declared, “I can do this too!” and began her own journey in shooting sports with a 20-gauge Beretta Onyx. Later, she transitioned to her brother’s Beretta 690, with a custom TSK stock fitted for her. Most recently, Lilly Kent just picked up a Blaser F3 and this will be her new competition gun.  Lilly Kent also shoots for Lake Oconee Shotgun Team as well as her school Gatewood Schools Shotgun Team.

Excited by the sport, Lilly Kent started participating in some events at the larger tournaments. Her determination quickly paid off, and in 2024, she stunned everyone by winning the main event in E Class at the Jack Links tournament. Since then, she has won several other events, showing a true knack for competition. Lilly Kent’s favorite event is Super Sporting in tournaments.
